What makes the Kosher Samsung Smartphone kosher
A kosher Samsung is a Galaxy smartphone with the browser removed from the operating system itself — not hidden, not filtered, simply not on the phone. You choose a bundle of approved apps (banking, maps, messaging, business tools), and additional apps that meet the standard can be requested later. A parental lock prevents changes without your password, and the filter survives a factory reset. Current models include the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy A15.

Which kosher phones have WhatsApp?
All koshered Samsung/Pixel smartphones have the option (full chats with images/videos). The MegaLife is the only kosher flip with WhatsApp — text and voice notes only, no media or profile pics. Channels blocked everywhere; statuses off by default.
Do kosher phones get software updates?
We manage updates centrally to keep the filter stable — on Samsung models we block firmware updates and handle them in-house. If an app stops working due to firmware age, mail the phone in and we will bring it up to date.
Can a kosher phone be made into a regular phone later?
Yes — the filter is removable by us if you change your mind. We verify the account owner before removing it. After removal the phone works as a normal unlocked Android device.
Can the Kosher Cell filter be bypassed or uninstalled?
No. The filter is installed at the operating-system level — it is not a parental-control app that can be deleted, and it survives a factory reset. Only Kosher Cell can remove it, after verifying the account owner.
